guys,, this is my blog and this is my first publish. Now, I will share to you
about what writing is. Guys,, do you like to spend your spare time for writing
something? Do you like to write letter? Or do you like to write your status in
social media?
Well
guys, we are often to write something like for our study, our feeling or even
just give comment for someone’s status. Do you know what writing is? Ok, let’s
check the definition of writing according to some experts.
According to Paola
(1993:6) states that: “Writing is more reflective that speaking. I think it
gives learners more time and they can be more accurate in what they write. I
think they expect to do quite a lot of writing”.
To support Paola
statement, Jose (1993:6) states that: “Writing is just another form of
communication. My learners expect to be given writing practice to improve their
all – around English. That’s why I do it.”
According to Klein (1985), “writing
is the ability to put pen and paper to express ideas through symbols, this way,
representations on the paper will have meaning and content that could be
communicated to other people by the writer”.
Byner (1981:24) that writing is a
primary means of recording speech, even though it must be acknowledge as a
secondary medium of communication.
From definition above can be
concluded that writing is a way to product language that comes from our
thought. By using writing, we can share our idea, feeling or anything that
exist in our mind. It is written on paper or a computer screen. it is influenced
both by personal attitudes and social experiences that the writer bring to
writing and the impact of the particular political and institutional context.
It is also a process that we write is influenced by constraints of genre and
has to be present in learning activities.
